Nitrogen is used in many industrial applications to prevent chemical oxidation of solids and fluids. Applications like light-ends removal, nitrogen blankets and pressurized blankets (in thermal oil, hot water- and condensatesystems) increase operational safety and maintenance intervals. However, they need a nitrogen supply.
In most cases, the nitrogen supply is ensured by connected nitrogen bottles. As their capacity is limited, they have to be monitored and changed when they are empty. The resulting costs are higher than the pure cost of replacement.
The NESS Nitrogen Generator separates oxygen and nitrogen and continuously generates nitrogen from the applied compressed air.
The NESS nitrogen generator separates oxygen and nitrogen with a durable and highly efficient membrane. This has a newly developed wall structure that allows oxygen to diffuse through the membrane walls much faster than nitrogen, resulting in nitrogen with a purity of 99.5%.
The NESS nitrogen generator works fully automatically, the continuous self-diagnosis reports faults promptly and reliably. The purity is monitored by a high-quality zirconium oxide sensor. The integrated pressure sensor automatically adjusts the nitrogen production of the generator to the current demand. The nitrogen generator is equipped with an integrated control unit. Alternatively, it can be integrated into an existing control system using a software module as a communication interface. High-quality filters guarantee trouble-free operation and low maintenance requirements.
