Temperature resistant venting
Pump vent is temperature resistant up to 350°C
Thermal oil pumps must be vented during commissioning and on each start up of a plant in order to avoid dry running.
Dry running of the pump would, among other things, damage the mechanical seal and therefore results in a standstill of the pump and the system or even leads to oil leakage and a fire.
Venting the pump usually requires tools, but the work is also not entirely safe for the operating personnel.
For this reason, we have developed a 350°C-resistant pump vent with a needle valve for simple and safe venting.
Suitable for retrofitting KSB, Allweiler, Speck, Sterling and Dickow pumps, among others with 1/4″ thread.
The NESS Pump vent can be used for pumps of all common manufacturers. The range of application is designed for up to 350°C of liquids and vapours.
